SHRM Northern Colorado Named a SHRM Platinum Excel Award Chapter!

We’re thrilled to share that SHRM Northern Colorado has been honored with the 2024 Platinum Excel Award—the highest level of recognition from SHRM!

This award celebrates our chapter’s outstanding contributions to the HR profession and recognizes excellence in strategic leadership, impactful programming, and member engagement.

Why We Earned Platinum

Our chapter delivered powerful programming, expanded member value, and strengthened Colorado’s HR community through initiatives such as:

• 53% Membership Growth – Surpassing our goal with intentional outreach and Dual Membership efforts, including appreciation events, targeted follow-up, and proactive outreach at conferences.

• Certification Hikes – Hosted 7 guided hikes combining wellness, networking, and SHRM recertification topics.

• SHRM Certification Study Group – Partnered with Western Colorado to support 10 participants; 3 earned their SHRM credentials immediately after!

• Rocky Mountain Case Competition – Connected 28 students from 3 universities with HR leaders, helping bridge the gap between education and professional practice.

• Workforce Trends and Legislative Update Mini-Conferences – Delivered 8 SHRM/HRCI credit hours, drew dozens of attendees, and generated nearly $9,000 in combined revenue.
