Amy joined NCHRA in 2018 after relocating from Alabama and being a board member for her local chapter and the Alabama State Council for 12+ years. She holds a BS in Business from Athens State University in Athens, Alabama and a MBA with a focus in Human Resources from Bethel State University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is also both PHR and SHRM-CP certified. Amy has worked in HR since 2000, mostly in a manufacturing setting and is currently the Human Resources Business Partner for Broadcom in Fort Collins. She is married with two adult sons and enjoys traveling, concerts and live music and movies. She is excited to learn more about the chapter and to assist the NoCoHRA Board with their many upcoming initiatives and events. |

Lisa joined NoCoHRA in early 2020 when she moved to Loveland to enjoy all of the outdoor activities the state has to offer. She enjoyed meeting NoCoHRA members as she learned about the area. Lisa began serving on the NoCoHRA Board of Directors as the Workforce Readiness and Diversity Co-Chair in 2021 as a way to help the HR community, then served as the President-Elect in 2022. She has been in the HR field for more than 20 years and is passionate about helping companies succeed through their people. She is looking forward to supporting NoCoHRA’s Board and its membership to attract and develop their people! |

Anna joined the board in late 2023 as a member at-large. Anna has earned her PHR certification and aspires to earn additional HR certifications after recently graduating with her MS in Organizational Leadership focused in HR. Anna joins the board with 15 years’ experience among multiple industries and company sizes. Anna's most recent experience includes supporting a Berthoud-based plastic manufacturing company named Associated Thermoforming. Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their furry and feathered pets. Anna likes to spend time hiking, camping, fishing, baking, and traveling. Anna looks forward to working with the rest of the board and supporting our local HR community. |

In early 2021, Mahalaxmi became a member of NoCoHRA, the Northern Colorado Human Resources Association. Currently, she holds the position of treasurer, a role she assumed in January 2023. Maha relocated from India to Fort Collins in 2020. Maha is passionate about meeting new people and establishing friendships. NoCoHRA has been instrumental in providing her with an excellent opportunity to expand her professional network and enhance her HR skills. With over seven years of experience in the field, Maha is a dedicated Human Resource professional. Her current role is as the Human Resources Director at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Larimer County. Armed with an MBA specializing in Human Resources Management, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her position. Beyond her professional pursuits, Maha has a love for cooking and is a trained classical dancer. Expressing her enthusiasm for her role as treasurer, she looks forward to contributing to and giving back to the HR community through her involvement with NoCoHRA. |

Therese has been a member of NoCoHRA since 2015 and began serving on the Board of Directors in 2021. She is the Membership co-chair and in her role she focuses on recruiting and retaining Chapter members and coordinating networking/membership appreciation events. Therese currently works at Colorado State University as a Classification/Compensation Consultant on the central HR team. Her HR career has spanned both the public and private sector and provided her valuable experience in various HR generalist and specialist roles. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She left the Midwest to venture further north with her husband, lived in Alberta Canada, but has called Loveland home for the past 19 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fun family, boating on Horsetooth, biking, and baking cupcakes. As a chapter member, Therese has enjoyed the great opportunities for quality professional development and connecting with other local HR colleagues. She is looking forward to supporting the HR community and promoting the profession in any way she can, on the NoCoHRA Board of Directors. |

Chelsea has been involved with NoCoHRA since 2019 and began serving on the Board of Directors in 2020. She currently serves as the SHRM Foundation Chair. As Foundation Chair, Chelsea provides strategic leadership and oversight to advance the Foundation’s mission and long-term impact. She works closely with board members, partners, and stakeholders to align fundraising efforts and outreach with the Foundation’s strategic goals, while fostering collaboration and engagement that drive meaningful and sustainable outcomes. In her professional role, Chelsea serves as an Employee Benefits Consultant with Think Insurance Group and brings more than 18 years of experience as a licensed insurance professional. A proud Northern Colorado native, Chelsea enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and staying active through horseback riding and golf. She values quality time with her family and has been happily married for 18 years, together raising two daughters. Chelsea’s involvement with NoCoHRA has strengthened her HR expertise and enhanced the strategic value she delivers to her clients. She is grateful for the relationships and insights gained through the organization. |

Currently, Brittany works in the hospitality sector at a Fortune 500 company, overseeing operations across the U.S. and Canada, including international recruitment efforts. |

With over a decade of industry experience and a passion for supporting business growth through better benefits, Kyle has worked with companies of all sizes to manage rising healthcare costs while improving the employee experience. A former board president of his local NABIP chapter, Kyle is actively involved in the HR and benefits community and is excited to contribute to the mission of NoCo SHRM. He recently relocated to Northern Colorado and looks forward to building strong partnerships with local HR professionals and business leaders. |

Mindy first joined NoCoHRA in early 2000 and then again in the beginning of 2023. She assumes the role as the Certification Chair. She received her PHR certification 20 years ago and found it useful to engage in the NoCoHRA study group. She is excited to lead the program and help others move forward with their certification journey. She is strategically working on developing study groups and promoting resources that are available through SHRM and her community. Mindy has over 20 years of HR experience with a big emphasis working with international companies. Mindy lives in Loveland, Colorado. She has four grown children and in her spare time (which is a new concept), she enjoys hiking, golfing and traveling. |

She is passionate about fostering organizational growth while prioritizing the employee experience and development. Aaron Guin is a Senior Attorney in Ireland Stapleton’s Employment Law practice group. Aaron advises employers in the public and private sector on a wide range of employment matters, including wage and hour compliance, managing injured and disabled workers, and establishing sound personnel policies and practices. Aaron presents training on issues such as employee performance management and documentation, preventing harassment in the workplace, and legal issues for managers and HR professionals. |
